MANYONGA, SAMAAI AND VISSER IN LONG JUMP QUALIFICATION ACTION
 
South Africa’s best represented event at the World Championships in London has Luvo Manyonga world leader and Ruswahl Samaai world number 2 in great shape and according to form they should have both qualified easily for the final, which they both did. Manyonga jumped 8.12m on his opening jump and could pack his bags for the final and Samaai jumped an 8:14 using all 3 of his jumps to advance to the final. The 3rd South African, Zarck Visser was also meant advance to the final based on his form but he fell short of the 8.05m automatic qualifying mark and misses out on the final with a best jump of 7.66m.
