Entries will open for next year’s Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon on Monday, 30 September, organisers have announced.
The entry window for South Africans will open at 1pm on 30 September and it closes at midnight on 6 October, and the process for local runners will again be a ‘lottery’ draw system. The draws will take place on 7 October.

Meanwhile, entries for international runners will open at 1pm on 1 October and close when capacity is reached, while charity entries will open at 1pm on 1 November 2024.
All ultra-marathon entrants must achieve qualifying times to participate in the event, while the submission of times ahead of the event will be used to determine the placements of half-marathon runners in the respective seeding pens on race day.
Entry fees
The entry fees for South African runners are R840 for the ultra-marathon (including a free t-shirt) and R450 for the half-marathon.
Entries for participants from other African countries will cost R1030/R830 and for runners outside Africa entry fees are R3080/R2160
The 54th edition of the annual Two Oceans Marathon will take place in Cape Town on 5 and 6 April 2025, with the 56km ultra-marathon being held on the Saturday and the half-marathon being held on the Sunday.
