Six South African athletes have been included in the entry lists for the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship to be held in Budapest between Friday and Sunday (11-13 September).
The nation will be represented by 100m sprinters Gift Leotlela and Akani Simbine, 200m star Sinesipho Dambile, 400m specialist Zakithi Nene, 100m hurdler Marione Fourie and 800m runner Prudence Sekgodiso.
Athletes will compete in finals if they progress beyond the semifinals of their events.

8.57pm – 800m women, semifinals (Sekgodiso)
9.20pm – 100m hurdles women, final (Fourie)

7.21pm – 100m men, semifinals (Leotlela, Simbine)
8.18pm – 800m women, final (Sekgodiso)

6.18pm – 200m men, semifinals (Dambile)
